The patient history,
summarised before the visit

Instead of scrolling through twenty write-ups before the patient walks in, you read one summary — with dates, diagnoses and what came of them.

A patient treated for years has dozens of visits in the record, lab results and recommendations written by different vets. Reading all that in the few minutes before check-in is not realistic, so in practice the vet glances at the last two visits and reconstructs the rest from the owner's account. The AI summary reads the documentation from a chosen scope and returns a concise overview: what happened, what was used to treat it and what came of it.

You pick the scope yourself: the last visits, a specific date range or the whole history. A generated summary is saved with the patient, so returning to the visit costs nothing — you generate a new one when something has actually changed. The same summary is visible in the app for vets, on the visit card, so it works when the vet is preparing on the way to the consulting room.

The history, summarised before the patient walks in

Instead of scrolling the record, you open a tab with the overview: the course of treatment, recurring problems, drugs and their effect. The rest of the visit starts from the specifics, not from reconstructing facts.

Three scopes to choose from

The last visits, a specific date range or the whole history. For a patient with years of records the scope keeps the prompt — and the token bill — within bounds.

The summary stays in the record

Once generated it is saved with the patient and opens at no cost. You generate a new one when the record has actually grown.

You pay for use, not for access

Switching the module on is free. What is billed are the tokens spent generating a summary, topped up as a package in the clinic panel — a clinic that uses it once a week does not pay the same subscription as one that runs it every visit.

The same summary on the phone

It is also visible in the app for vets, on the visit card and the patient card — exactly when the vet is walking down the corridor to the consulting room.

A summary, not a diagnosis

The summary organises what vets wrote into the record and adds nothing from outside the documentation. The full record stays where it is and remains the source of truth — where a decision demands it, you read the original write-up.

Example

This is what a finished summary looks like

The “Summary of recent visits (AI)” card from the system, reproduced here on a fictional patient.

Summary of recent visits (AI)

Generated 12.03.2026 08:41 · scope: last 20 visits · visits: 14 · tokens used: 9,260

Example

Main health problems

  • Chronic dermatitis, allergic background suspected — recurring since 2023, worse in spring and autumn.
  • Otitis externa of the right ear: three episodes in 14 months, the last in January 2026.
  • Body weight rising for the third measurement in a row: 7.9 → 8.6 kg over the year.

Course of treatment

  • Ear cytology (11.01.2026): Malassezia yeast, topical treatment for 10 days, follow-up with no inflammation.
  • Elimination diet from 09.2025 for 8 weeks — pruritus clearly reduced, relapse after returning to the previous food.
  • Blood work (02.2026): haematology and biochemistry within range, ALT at the upper limit.

Medication and allergies

  • Adverse reaction to cefalexin (2024): vomiting and urticaria after the second dose.
  • Long-term medication: none. Miconazole ear drops as needed.
  • Parasite prevention valid until 03.2026, rabies vaccination until 11.2026.

What to watch for during this visit

  • Do not use cephalosporins — an adverse reaction is recorded in the file.
  • Assess the right ear for a fourth relapse; consider cytology before topical treatment.
  • Check body weight and set a feeding plan — the upward trend continues.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does the content of a summary come from?

Only from the patient's documentation in your system — visits, diagnoses, drugs given, results and recommendations. Nothing outside the record is added.

Does the documentation leave the system?

The visit content from the chosen scope is sent to a language model (Anthropic's Claude), which returns the summary — which is why the module is optional and switched on deliberately by the clinic. Beyond that request the documentation does not leave the system.

What does it cost?

Switching the module on is free; usage is billed. Each generated summary draws tokens from the package topped up in the clinic panel. Opening an existing summary costs nothing.

Does the summary replace the patient record?

No. It is a shortcut into the case — the full documentation stays in place and it is what decides.
